libplist1 software package provides Library for handling Apple binary and XML property lists, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libplist1
libplist1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libplist1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libplist1 *
You will get with libplist1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
